Meet Your Trainers

GRIFF NEILSON, BS, NSCA-CPT, ACSM-EST, CHEK Level III Holistic Lifestyle Coach and INN Integrative Health Coach

When I was 12 years old I remember following my older sister into a gym. I remember to this day the weird but very definite feeling that came over me –I was supposed to get in shape and help people do the same.

Fast forward into my early 20’s. I started my career as a Personal Trainer and later became a Nutritionist and Health Coach. During my career I have had the privilege of working with dozens of busy executives and became an extremely busy entrepreneur myself.

As my life got more busy, I found myself faced with a conundrum. I could fall into the trap of relegating my health and fitness to the bottom of the totem pole, like the vast majority of busy professionals and entrepreneurs do, OR I could find a way to maintain and optimize my health and fitness despite my insanely busy career.

My solution to my problem came after periods of success and failure when I began to study Eastern Spiritual Philosophy and apply it into my life. I went from what I call the “Pressed and Stressed Professional” or PSP and slowly morphed into what I also call the “Consistently Fit Professional” or CFP.

It has truly been a game changer for me because I can now live in the Western world of “hustle and grind” but maintain a spiritual perspective that allows me to put myself FIRST. I know that if I don’t put my health and fitness needs first, then I will never be in a place that I can serve those closest to me, or the world at large.

I consider it my calling in life to help other busy people put themselves first so that they can also live the life of their dreams flowing with health and vitality.

Christina Johnson, NSCA-CPT, CHEK Level II Holistic Lifestyle Coach

My passion for helping others started at a young age, organizing service projects and fundraisers around the neighborhood.  As I got older that passion only intensified.  After suffering from depression for many years and being on medications I wanted to find a more holistic way to heal.  This is when I fell in love with fitness and nutrition.  My drive for helping others led me to coaching on an online forum, which ultimately led to personal training.  Shortly after starting personal training, my brother was a victim to suicide. With my own mental struggles, I knew I needed to do more to help others get control over their health, especially mentally.

This is what led me to become certified from the CHEK institute in holistic coaching. Seeing my clients find strength they’ve never had and change their lives completely means the world to me. I am a certified personal trainer through the NSCA and a certified CHEK level 2 holistic coach.  I am a student at heart and am always learning.  I have worked extensively with Griff Neilson, as my teacher and mentor, to continually expand my knowledge and expertise.  Having built my own career as a single mom, raising three kids and helping business professionals, I know what it takes to improve your health in all aspects of life: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
